The PC-9335 is a mono, full featured, double cassette deck designed
for permanent installation in commercial sound system applications. Both
decks feature logic-controlled, auto-reverse mechanisms, with Deck A offering
record/playback capabilities. Full recording flexibility is assured
with direct input recording as well as two B-A dubbing modes. A level control
sets the direct input recording levels, which are indicated on the LED
level meter. Two dubbing modes are selectable, normal and high speed,
with high speed offering 1.5 times faster recording while a record mute
button inserts 4 seconds of blank recording when desired. Three playback
modes are switch-selectable: single-side play, two-side auto-reverse and
two-side continuous play. A separate relay playback setting cycles the
selected playback mode between decks, offering single-side and auto-reverse
playback from each deck, and in continuous play mode providing full tape
playback cycling repeatedly from deck to deck. Automatic Music Search (AMS)
allows rapid cueing of playback selections, and a blank skip feature automatically
advances to the next selection after 10 seconds of blank tape. Input
and output connections are made with 1/4" phone jacks, with a balanced
input and three mono outputs: fixed (-10dBV), variable & headphones.
The PC-9335 is powered by 115VAC @ 60 Hz (230VAC @ 50 USA only) and/
or 24 VDC, enabling its use as part of a portable P.A. system, or connection
to a standby power supply for emergency operation. The unit is packaged
in a 51/4" triple-height rack-mount enclosure.
