PAM-60/PAM-120

Modular Mixer/Amplifier

Features Description

The PAM-60 and PAM-120 are 60 or 120-watt mixer amplifiers with six balanced XLR universal inputs, allowing connections of any source from mic. to aux. level via an input gain adjustment. The units also feature an input for connection to a telephone system page port from a 600 ohm input. Each input has a three-band EQ to filter unwanted feedback and provides a master treble and bass control. Five front-mounted speaker selector switches allow up to five zones of speakers to be turned on or off. In addition, a four-tone chime is provided for page pre-announce or signaling and two priority switches enable desired selections of muting. Muting is achieved by VOX or by contact closure for override of music for paging and amp protection by fused and relay protects circuits. Two separate in/out loops can connect external processing or record to outboard devices. Individual phantom power switches per channel and rack mounts are also featured.

Two front-mounted bays allow an AM/FM tuner (left bay only) or a CD or cassette deck module (right bay only) to be added. Each of these modules installs easily in the field or in-house for sale as a one-package item.

Both units are powered by 120VAC @ 60 Hz and/or 24VDC, enabling its use as part of a portable P.A. system, or to a standby power supply for emergency operation.
